All's Well That Ends Well by is William Shakespeare. The classic Shakespearean drama about forced marriage and what happens when a scorned woman wants her man back. Helena saves the life of a noble and is offered her choice of men. She chooses Bertram who thinks she is beneath his nobility. He marries her as ordered, but then goes off to war without consummating the marriage. He writes Helena and tells her he won't accept her as his wife unless she manages to get his family's ring off his finger and becomes pregnant with his child. Helena sets out in disguise to trick her wayward husband into assuring his conditions are met.
