Will is an orphan, he and four other orphans are about to be "chosen" by the Craftmasters for their professions. Will wants to go to the Battleschool but is apprenticed to Halt the mysterious Ranger. What are the Rangers? Does Will have what it takes to be one? Does he have what it takes to save the kingdom and his master from the evil Morgarath? A great new series reminiscent of The Lord of the Rings in some ways.
