The Opal Deception is by Eoin Colfer. Book four in the Artemis Fowl series. Artemis Fowl has had his memories of faeries erased. He has now returned to his criminal ways and is about to steal a painting from a secured vault in Germany. Meanwhile, Opal Koboi has escaped and is planning to seek revenge on everyone who foiled her last plot - including the unsuspecting Artemis. Holly must restore his memory and get his help to save her reputation and all of faerie from discovery by the humans. A fabulous tale, quite suspenseful and enjoyable.
